I agree that some men may make a show of shedding a tear or two for purely selfish reasons. But I have known women who will turn on the waterworks to get what they want.
However, right or wrong the world has lost a wonderful writer. Rest in peace Nora Ephron
You are absolutely right, John -- I, too, know quite a few women who weep to get their own way, or to make a point.
