The graves of Norfolk Island
Every stone tells a tale -- of the two times it was a penal settlement (1788-1814 and 1825 to 1856) and of its whaling history. There are descendants of the Bounty mutineers there, too.
These are really interesting Joan. Mrs H thinks I'm 'strange' but if I get a chance I love walking around cemeteries as they give the history of an area, plus every stone an individual story.
