New Zealand's biggest newspaper contemplates shrinking.
The New Zealand Herald is likely to go to tabloid-sized, in what the paper describes as "compact format".
It's part of a review of Herald titles by owners APN.
Newspaper revenue fell seven percent last year and traditional readers world wide are turning to other ways of getting their news.
APN bosses stress the change to a compact format hasn't been decided yet, with concern that going tabloid would make the paper more populist and less credible.
