Worth buying for the pictures
Uwe Hansen and Dirk Poppinga are the "authors" of 100 Jahre Viermastbark Passat: Leben und Lehrnen an Bord. Ein Bilddokumentation der Reisen 1956 und 1957.
The word "authors" is in quotation marks because this lovely but slim (85 pp.) book is more photo than text. It is published by the Deutsches Schiffahrtsmuseum and offers a photographic account of the role that the 'Passat' played as a school ship. You’ll find a brief (German-only!) description here:
