It's such fun to know famous people, and top of my favorites list is photographer Robert A. Schaefer, Jr., who sent me this great photograph a couple of days ago. While sunning at Red Hook, Brooklyn, he spied Queen Mary 2 departing for unknown seas, and -- as always -- had his camera with him. (Now, that's quite a skill, having one's camera handy at camera-worthy moments, something that lesser mortals like me never quite manage.)
